A confident and energetic publicist, award-winning editor and writer, he has excellent skills of communication, influencing and international reputational development.  John has extensive political, public affairs and media contacts in the UK and the European institutions. His knowledge of politics in Westminster and Brussels, combined with his inside understanding of how newsrooms work in London and the regions, is unmatchable.


He knows how journalists, bloggers and editors think. As well editing two daily papers and working as a staff reporter for the Sunday Times, he spent the four years before setting up Furbisher Media running the communications operation for Britain's Conservative MEPs

An award-winning campaigning journalist Nicola was, until recently, the Managing Editor of The Yorkshire Post and the Editor of its sister title the Yorkshire Evening Post. 


A respected leader, coach and mentor with track record in powerful campaigning journalism, her two most recent campaigns: Loneliness, The Hidden Epidemic (The Yorkshire Post) and #SpeakYourMind (a Yorkshire Evening Post campaign to combat the stigma surrounding mental illness) achieved national acclaim.

The Yorkshire Evening Post was awarded Daily Newspaper of the Year last year under her editorship.

She is a multi-media strategist with an understanding and expertise in how to drive profile and brands using social media.

She is passionate about supporting and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
